Amber
School Psychologist
Greetings! I'm Amber, a passionate school psychologist currently residing in Germany but originally from the United States. I hold a B.S. in psychology and political science from Westminster College in the United States and a Ph.D. in school psychology from the University of Northern Colorado in the United States.
In the US, I worked as a school psychologist conducting psychoeducational assessments, functional behavior assessments, and providing training for school staff and parents on various topics. I am dedicated to staying current with the latest research and best practices in school psychology.
My areas of expertise include psychoeducational assessments for specific learning disabilities and attention deficit hyperactive disorder, multi-tiered systems of support, behavior/social-emotional interventions, consultation, and workshops for school staff and parents. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive, whether navigating the complexities of learning disabilities, fostering emotional intelligence, or promoting positive mental health.
I am fluent in English. I am proficient in Spanish and learning German. I am here to support students, parents, and staff in any way. By working closely with educators, parents, and other stakeholders, I aim to contribute to a community that prioritizes the overall well-being of each student.
