Our Team

We screen specialists according to the following steps: Once an application comes in,we screen every applicant for their background, working experience, specialization and expertise, and motivation. We also assess their session setup. Before a specialist can start working with students, we conduct a background check for identity verification and criminal record.

This section explains our information collection and parental choice procedures with respect to information provided by children under the age of 13 (“Child” or “Children”). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. Any information we collect from children is entered by an adult in the platform who is either a parent, clinician or school official when enrolling in services. Linden collects information about students directly from parents, who provide us with the Child’s first name, age, type of schooling, location, and additional notes for the specialists. The process of obtaining consent for children (and the validity of their consent) are governed by Article 8 of the GDPR. Student access to the platform is only granted to independent students that are above 18. If we learn that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information via our website, we will delete it in accordance with applicable law.

In addition, Children may share information about themselves during sessions with Linden specialists. Linden sessions may take place via online meetings in which video images and audio of the Children are shared with the Linden specialist. At no point of online sessions, recordings are made.
