Aranxa
Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Hi, I’m Aranxa! I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I am originally from Peru, but lived most of my life in Miami. I attended Florida International University (FIU), where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. During my time at FIU, I took courses in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which got me very interested in their behavioral approach. I moved to England to continue my education at The University of Kent in Canterbury, where I earned a Master’s of Science in ABA (Intellectual and Developmental Disability).Â
I have worked at a school for children and teenagers with autism spectrum condition (ASC) in Florida, and as an ABA therapist for an ABA center in Malta. I have also served as an ABA clinical supervisor, where I worked hand in hand with the center’s BCBAs, supervising and developing treatment plans.Â
I specialize in: children and teenagers with ASC and developmental and learning difficulties. Treatment development, positive behavior support, early intervention and challenging behaviors. Coaching and supporting parents and teachers.Â
I speak English and Spanish.
