Hi, I’m Pei!

I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling from Taiwan, where I am a licensed counseling psychologist. Additionally, I earned a second master’s degree in social work with families and children through the Erasmus Mundus program, studying in Portugal, Norway, and Sweden.

With over a decade of experience, I’ve worked with students across a wide range of ages and needs, including primary school students with psychological issues, teenagers with behavioral challenges in juvenile detention, and young adults with emotional and psychiatric concerns in residential care. I have also supported vulnerable families.

Additionally, I’ve served as a volunteer hotline counselor and worked in a university counseling center with both international and local students in Taiwan. For the past two years, I’ve been a social and emotional counselor at an international school in Germany, working with students aged 3 to 18.

I’m passionate about helping students overcome challenges and fostering their personal development. As a social and emotional counselor, I strive to empower individuals by tapping into their innate strengths and potential. My approach is holistic, integrating solution-focused strategies, strength-based perspectives, and ecological systems theory. I believe that collaboration among students, parents, schools, and communities provides the greatest support for students. I’m committed to creating a trustworthy and safe environment where students can freely express their needs and aspirations. I specialize in counseling, parent coaching, transitions, cultural adjustment, relationships, self-esteem, and emotional regulation.

I’m from Taiwan, and I speak Mandarin Chinese and English.
