Kadri

Counselor

Hello! I’m Kadri, a Counsellor and a Music Therapist from Estonia. I hold a Master’s degree in Music Therapy from the University of Roehampton, London and a bachelor’s degree in Music from Goldsmiths, University of London.

I believe that my education provided me with great skills in counseling and music therapy. However, my life experience has also shaped how I relate and connect with my clients. For example, having lived abroad for over ten years, I believe my multicultural experience informs my therapeutic work.

I always consider the person as a whole rather than solely focusing on their diagnosis. There is so much more to a person than that; every client has a unique life experience.

I have worked with infants, children, adolescents and adults with learning difficulties, ADHD and autism, gender identity and sexuality, substance misuse, trauma, depression, anxiety and life transitions.

What about music therapy? Music therapy is the clinical use of music to accomplish individualized goals, such as reducing stress and improving mood and self-expression. It is an evidence-based therapy focusing on the third: the client-therapist-music relationship, supporting connection with self and others. You don’t need to have musical skills to participate in music therapy. Music can be a means of expression where words lack.

I specialize in autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, learning difficulties, trauma, addictions, and gender identity.

I conduct sessions in English or Estonian.
