Dominique
Coach & Counselor
Hi, I'm Dominique. I am a psychological counselor and coach with a bachelor's degree in psychology from the South African College of Applied Psychology. I am currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the International Psychoanalytic University in Berlin, as well as my ICF coaching certification.
Over the years I have worked as a Counselor, Academic Tutor, Coach, and AIMS ASD Therapist across a wide range of settings and in various countries including Zambia, Tanzania, South Africa and Vietnam. I have worked with young people affected by a wide range of concerns, and have supported young people who are experiencing anxiety, difficulties with life transitions, self-esteem issues and perfectionism. I also provide support in time management and organizational skills, as well as provide support to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum and SEN students. I believe in a holistic and person-centred approach where therapies should be a fully integrated system in a student’s life. I believe everyone holds unique strengths and problem-solving skills! I am passionate about helping young people overcome mental issues and better cope with learning difficulties by teaching them new skills, strategies and solutions to help them reach their full potential!
I also facilitate a holistic teen coaching program. Read more about it here.
My specialities include Coaching, Counseling, Mental Skills Coaching, Social skills, Stress management, Time Management, Organizational skills, Transitioning, Third Culture Kids, Motivation, Goal Setting, Confidence & Self-Esteem, Social Skills & Healthy Relationships.
I’m from South Africa and I speak English.
