Hello, I'm Diane!

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from United States International University, with 15 years of experience working with children and parents within multicultural schools and professional settings in UAE, Kenya, and Ivory Coast.

After spending 9 years as a School Counselor and Educator within an inclusive school in Dubai, I decided to further my experience by setting up « LEARN & SHINE » in Abidjan, a private practice where I provide counseling and professional development services to families, schools and corporates with the main goal of providing the necessary tools to parents to support better their children’s educational and psychological needs, as well as their own mental health and ability to cope with stress.

Working with children and young families has equipped me with a holistic view and understanding of children’s developmental stages and learning abilities, which are the foundation for their future academic years. I understand that family systems will negatively or positively contribute to a student’s academic performance and I am ready to use my skills in counseling, and SEN, to support students and their families.

I specialize in: parent coaching, early childhood, anxiety reduction, emotion-regulation, cultural adjustment, play therapy, art therapy, teacher training.

I am Fluent in English, French, Kirundi, Kinyarwanda and Swahili.
