Hi, my name is Michael! I am a versatile academic coach from the USA with extensive experience in supporting students across a wide range of subjects, including English Language and Literature, Math, Science, Theory of Knowledge (ToK), and Art.

I earned my degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland, and my career has taken me around the world, including eight years teaching in Europe and Asia.

During this time, I have gained significant experience as an International Baccalaureate (IB) coach, helping students navigate the rigorous and rewarding demands of the IB curriculum.

I am passionate about making learning a meaningful experience. My teaching approach is informed by a deep understanding of both mainstream and alternative educational methods. I prioritize recognizing each student’s unique learning style and personal interests, tailoring my lessons and building rapport to meet their individual needs.

I firmly believe that every challenge is an opportunity for growth and transformation. No matter the subject, my goal is to help students uncover the intrinsic value of what they are learning and connect with it in ways that align with their personal goals, development, and success.
