Michael

Hi, I’m Michael! I’m an academic coach and an enthusiast of literature and science. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in American Literature, I taught courses in writing, literature, and critical thinking at the University of South Alabama and Fuzhou University, in Fuzhou, China. I’m passionate about books and having conversations with other curious people. I moved to Berlin to learn German and to work in editing and education. 

At Linden, I run academic writing workshops and SAT prep courses for teens. It’s exciting to share my research and writing experience with young academics. I believe that enthusiasm is what lies at the core of good writing. And I communicate that by example. 

My specialities include: English, academic writing (middle school/high school, university), SAT prep (English), and ACT prep. 

I’m from the United States and I speak English.
