Hi, I’m Pei!
I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling from Taiwan, where I am a licensed counseling psychologist. Additionally, I earned a second master’s degree in social work with families and children through the Erasmus Mundus program, studying in Portugal, Norway, and Sweden.
With over a decade of experience, I’ve worked with students across a wide range of ages and needs, including primary school students with psychological issues, teenagers with behavioral challenges in juvenile detention, and young adults with emotional and psychiatric concerns in residential care. I have also supported vulnerable families.
Additionally, I’ve served as a volunteer hotline counselor and worked in a university counseling center with both international and local students in Taiwan. For the past two years, I’ve been a social and emotional counselor at an international school in Germany, working with students aged 3 to 18.
I’m passionate about helping students overcome challenges and fostering their personal development. As a social and emotional counselor, I strive to empower individuals by tapping into their innate strengths and potential. My approach is holistic, integrating solution-focused strategies, strength-based perspectives, and ecological systems theory. I believe that collaboration among students, parents, schools, and communities provides the greatest support for students. I’m committed to creating a trustworthy and safe environment where students can freely express their needs and aspirations.
I specialize in counseling, parent coaching, transitions, cultural adjustment, relationships, self-esteem, and emotional regulation.
I’m from Taiwan, and I speak Mandarin Chinese and English.

Psychoeducational Assessments
Hello! I’m Priscilla!
I earned my MA in Inclusive Special Education and Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Arizona (Go Wildcats!). I have trained and worked in special education and psychology across various settings, with schools being my favorite environment. My work broadly focuses on psychoeducational evaluations, school leadership consultations, tiered systems consultations and audits, professional development, and comprehensive student support. I also engage extensively in research and data analysis. Originally from the US, I have lived in multiple countries including Mexico, Germany, Bahrain, Japan, India, and the UAE.
I take great pride in understanding learners and am frequently called upon to review evaluations in complex cases. I have extensive experience with evaluations involving autism, dyslexia, ADHD, giftedness, and twice exceptionalities. Helping schools develop inclusive, efficient, and data-driven student support systems is both my passion and the topic of my dissertation.
The whole child is at the heart of all I do. Neuroscience increasingly supports this necessity for learning, which is why wellbeing, social-emotional learning (SEL), and mental health—including suicide prevention and postvention planning—are vital in schools. I develop programs tailored to each school’s unique context and am not afraid to address challenging topics such as consent and healthy relationships lessons for all students, including those with severe disabilities. I also conduct ongoing qualitative research with LGBTQIA+ Third Culture Kids (TCKs) in international schools, using their feedback to help schools create more inclusive mental health and SEL programs.
I speak English.

Identity & self-esteem
Hello, my name is Rena Marie!
I am a dedicated educator and counselor who has worked with children and teens ages 7–23 in some of the San Francisco Bay Area’s most vulnerable communities since 2002. I hold a BA in History from the University of San Francisco and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, with a concentration in Drama Therapy, from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
My professional experience includes serving as a middle school counselor at an academic independent school in San Francisco, developing programs for young adult basic education, writing wellness curriculum for middle school summer programs, mentoring college students at the University of California, Berkeley, and leading professional development trainings for educators and mental health professionals. My most popular workshops include “Movement, Nutrition, and Mental Health,” “Practicing Joy,” and “Vicarious Trauma Toolkit.” I work with children and teens of all ages, specializing in anxiety, transitions, social skills, and mindfulness practices.
In addition to my counseling work, I am an actor, dancer, and teaching artist. I currently teach weekly dance classes in Lisbon and lead both local and global retreats. I believe the arts are inherently therapeutic and can be powerful tools for healing and wellness.
Some ways the arts support mental health include:
- Increased self-awareness
- Opportunities for self-expression
Improved self-regulation - Reduced stress and anxiety (especially when practiced for joy rather than evaluation)
- Enhanced cognitive functioning and neuroplasticity
In June 2025, my family moved to Portugal from the United States. The decision to relocate my 14-year-old at the start of secondary school was thoughtful and intentional. In preparation, we focused on both the exciting opportunities and the challenges ahead. As a family, we continue to create space to process these challenges and find creative solutions together. This lived experience has given me a unique understanding of how to support teens during major transitions - especially those involving a new culture, new language, and new educational system.
I speak English and am currently learning Portuguese.

Hi I'm Ruthie! I'm an academic coach and learning specialist with over 15 years of experience. My specialty is using interactive practices to support the learning and development of people of all ages.
I hold two master's degrees - the first is in Art & Design for Applied Learning from The Rhode Island School of Design. The second is a diploma in Embodied Dramaturgy/ Devised Theatre from Arthaus Berlin. I'm proud to have worked internationally since 2005, using theatre and applied arts practices for social change. I'm passionate about facilitating workshops and lectures that help educators and learning specialists use interactive practices to support English, Math, higher-order learning skills, and STEM fluency. I've been an Artist in Residence and Guest Facilitator at Brown University, Antioch College, The Rhode Island School of Design, and The City University of New York.
I believe that interactive learning is the key to engaging with young people. My training, facilitation, and pedagogy looks beyond the standard, spotlighting how educators and families can support young people with ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, and processing differences. This specialty in education and creative engagement has led much of my curriculum building, professional development for educators, and camp programming. I believe learning environments and camps are places to engage with “the new and challenging” while celebrating and elevating the special things that make each young person unique.
At Linden during the academic year, my focus is on supporting participants of all ages with English, academic writing, reading, literature, and general math support. I can also help with studies in the Humanities, Philosophy, Religious Studies, and beginner to advanced essay and thesis writing. If you're a young person or a family looking for a partner who can provide support, techniques, and interactive learning practices to help with decoding, comprehension, and problem-solving skills, I'm here for you.
I'm originally from Maine, and English is my first language, but I can also help participants with B2-level French. I'm based in Berlin but travel regularly for workshops and programming internationally. I'm happy to teach in a hybrid setting, both online and in person in Berlin.

Hi, I’m Selene!
Born and raised in a small town in northeastern Italy, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Human Sciences, a Master of Arts in Philology and Italian Literature, and a second-level Professional Master’s degree in Advanced Planning for Teaching Italian Language and Culture to Foreigners—all from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
After graduation, I moved to New York City, where I spent over a decade working as a foreign language teacher and school administrator in primary and middle schools. I designed curricula and extracurricular programs across various subjects, with a focus on creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences. Alongside my work with students, I led professional development workshops for fellow educators, emphasizing innovative instructional strategies and multilingual education.
Passionate about children’s right to education, I have volunteered with several NGOs in the U.S. and abroad, supporting initiatives that provide free, quality education to children in underserved areas. I am particularly fascinated by the wonders of multilingual brains, bilingual education, and the challenges and progress of global education. In line with the motto “You can’t use an old map to explore a new land,” I am currently researching ways to integrate education for sustainable development into school communities and curricula.
With a strong foundation in early childhood and elementary education, I approach academic coaching with a commitment to thoughtful, individualized instruction that supports each student in alignment with their unique learning profile. All materials and strategies are carefully crafted to reflect each learner’s distinct goals, strengths, and academic needs.
I specialize in general academic support for Humanities: Philosophy, TOK, History, English Language and Literature; IB study strategies and PYP / MYP / DP curriculum requirements, academic and creative writing, as well as coaching aimed at enhancing executive functioning skills for children and adolescents.
I currently live in Berlin with my 4-year-old son. In my (very limited) spare time, I enjoy reading, occasional writing, and photography.
I am Italian and speak Italian, English, Spanish, German, Friulian (my grandmother’s language), and some French.
