Hi, I'm Jimena. I'm a psychologist who helps children, adolescents, and university students build the emotional, behavioral, and learning skills they need to feel more confident and in control of their daily lives. I believe everyone deserves a safe, nonjudgmental space to feel understood, and my goal is to walk alongside you and offer practical tools that make a real difference.

‍

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology in Mexico and my Master's in Clinical Psychology in Germany. I also completed specialized training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for children and adolescents and in interventions for neurodevelopmental conditions. My research focused on helping parents strengthen their connection with their children and support their emotional regulation, especially in kids on the spectrum.

‍

For over five years, I have worked in international schools, clinics, and psychoeducational programs, providing counseling, learning support, and behavioral support. I work with students facing learning differences, emotional challenges, autism, and ADHD, and I collaborate closely with families through early intervention, counseling, and parent coaching.

‍

‍Supporting university students. University can be an exciting chapter and also an overwhelming one. Many students carry academic pressure, self-doubt, and the weight of being far from home, often in silence. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, be honest about how you feel, and develop strategies that work for you. I support university students with anxiety, low mood, burnout, perfectionism, and procrastination, as well as with executive functioning skills such as organization, time management, and study strategies.

‍

‍I can support you with:

  • Anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem
  • Emotional regulation and stress management
  • Burnout, academic pressure, and study skills
  • ADHD, autism, and behavioral or emotional difficulties
  • Life transitions such as moving abroad, starting university, family separation, or divorce

‍

I am fluent in both Spanish and English and work with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, tailoring my support to each person's story and needs. I believe that with the right guidance and a compassionate approach, everyone can grow in confidence and meet life's challenges in their own way and at their own pace.

Whether you are a parent seeking support for your child or a student taking the first step for yourself, I would be glad to work with you
