Multi-Tiered Systems of Support MTSS

Hey, I'm Eveliina! I'm a school psychologist currently based in the United States and Finland. I earned my Master's and Educational Specialist degrees in School Psychology from the University of Toledo in Ohio, and I hold the Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential.

Over the past several years, I have worked as a school psychologist supporting students ages 5–18 in both in-person and virtual settings. My experience includes conducting comprehensive psychoeducational, gifted, and Section 504 evaluations, functional behavior assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams through MTSS/RTI to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. I have worked with students with a wide range of learning and developmental needs, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, intellectual disabilities, and visual impairments. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work has been collaborating with families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds to help students reach their full potential.

Having experienced educational systems in Finland, the United States, and Japan, I enjoy bridging different educational perspectives to help students succeed in diverse learning environments. I am passionate about culturally responsive practice and supporting international and multilingual students by recognizing their unique strengths while ensuring they have access to the services and supports they need. I'm excited to support students and families by combining my professional expertise with curiosity, collaboration, and a global perspective.

I am originally from Finland, and I speak Finnish and English. I am continuing to develop my skills in Japanese, and Bengali.
