Hi, I’m Elysa! I hold a M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Calgary, an M.A. in Education from UC Berkeley, and a B.A. in Psychology from Cornell University. More recently, I earned my Diplomate in School Neuropsychology in 2026.

I am currently living in Japan. I have previously worked at international schools in Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, and Austria, as well as in private practice in Australia. Having spent more than 15 years living and working internationally, I am passionate about supporting international school communities, including students, families, and educators. As a school psychologist, I focus on providing culturally and linguistically sensitive psychoeducational assessments for globally mobile children. I have supported children and youth with developmental delays, executive functioning weaknesses, Specific Learning Disorders, ADHD and ASD. I am particularly interested in research on best practice in the provision of assessments and supports for culturally and linguistically diverse children.

I am knowledgeable about preschool to grade 12 International Baccalaureate, North American, and Australian curriculum, and I understand the needs of young children building foundational social-emotional and academic skills as well as those of older students developing time management and study skills. I enjoy collaborating with parents and educators to support children’s academic and social-emotional development, and I draw on my prior experiences as both a classroom teacher and school psychologist when recommending support for home and school.

I’m American and Australian, and I speak English.
