Hi! I’m Elmeka. I’m a school psychologist and counselor based in Madrid, Spain. I earned my Masters (MA) and Educational Specialist (EdS) degrees in School Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011 and I hold the Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential, with specialized training in neuropsychology and trauma-informed practices.
I’m passionate about creating inclusive, trauma-responsive systems that honor every learner’s dignity and potential. Over the past 15 years I’ve worked as a school psychologist, counselor, learning support coordinator, and safeguarding leader across the United States, Asia, and Africa. My work focuses on building sustainable student support frameworks rooted in cultural responsiveness, restorative approaches, and equity-driven safeguarding.
I collaborate with students, families, and educators to support neurodivergent learners, students with significant or multiple disabilities, and LGBTQ+ children, youth and adults in complex and high-risk contexts. I also enjoy leading professional learning workshops on inclusive education, mental health, trauma care, and child protection for international schools and organizations worldwide.
I am from the United States and speak English.

You and your staff provide such a valuable and needed service for many of our students. When there is a question on the Education team, the answer is often… check with Linden. What would we do without you?
