Hi I’m Michael! I’m a life coach for children and teenagers who specializes in helping young people overcome challenges and find purpose and direction in their lives.

Originally from the UK, I received my PhD in German-Jewish history from the

University of Oxford in 2019. Since then, I’ve worked within the personal development and education fields. For two years I was a coach, mentor and English teacher at a socially disadvantaged school (“Brennpunktschule”) in Berlin. I’m currently in the process of completing a qualification as a systemic coach and creative process mentor.

My coaching role is to support and empower young people to self-reflect upon their goals, visions and challenges. I see coaching as a future-orientated activity which aims at definite results and measurable progress. My No. 1 coaching tool is being a great listener and asking the right questions at the right time. However, I love making my coaching sessions fun and interactive. I use techniques from mindfulness, storytelling, Gestalt Therapy and systemic theory.

I specialize in the following themes: academic success, careers, goal-setting,

motivation, overcoming perfectionism and limiting beliefs, self-exploration and social relationships. When I’m not working as a coach, I’m a passionate musician and love being in nature.

I speak English and German.
