While in college, Laura participated in a service learning program in Costa Rica, a study abroad program in Peru, and taught English in the Dominican Republic. Laura has made it a goal to learn from and work with students from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds to better serve them and their families. She is trained in a myriad of assessments and has vast experience in working with families to understand evaluation results. Part of Laura’s daily work includes conducting psychoeducational assessments for various exceptionalities, making individualized recommendations, helping with IEP writing, and classroom
