Susan, M.A.,PG Dip

Hello, my name is Susan.  I have worked as a person-centred psychotherapist for 23 years with a wealth of personal and professional experience of international school programs. I work with individuals, teams, couples and organizations.  Grounded in person-centred clinical practice, I have held specialist roles working in state and private acute psychiatric settings for the treatment of dual diagnosis.

I hold a Post Graduate Diploma and an MA in Counseling & Psychotherapy from Nottingham Trent University. I am also a certified yoga teacher. Former advisory roles have included the Care Improvement Partnership/NIHME National Institute of Mental Health, National Probation Services, and National Health Service (Women’s Drug Service).

I work often with clients who are in crisis or in particular areas of difficulty. I'm also keen to work with you if you are happy or successful already, and simply want to enhance or process something in your life right now. I provide a space and a quality of attention that will help you examine your life and your relationships. I will help you think about and develop your options, and decide what steps (if any) to take next.

Having lived in Germany for the past 12 years, I gained real life knowledge of supporting families who are on Global/Local contracts. I understand the demands of relocation, facing cultural and language barriers, and not least the demands of international school education and the impact this can have on teens and young adults.
