Magical Math Camp Grades 4&5

Service Description

Measure Your World makes math meaningful, relevant, and fun! Children will learn to identify math magic all around the city of Berlin. As they explore Berlin’s most fabulous parks, they will investigate numbers, practice their mental math and math vocabulary, and create the most magical miniature park of our dreams! Students will design a to-scale map of their park, practicing surface area, fractions, multiplication, and division skills. Students will also hone their budgeting skills as they work within given cost limitations. Every day, we will head out of the classroom and into the city to do research for our designs, to spark our imaginations, and explore math concepts along the way. We will play games, solve riddles, and complete scavenger hunts that not only help our math and reasoning skills but boost our ability to work as a team… and we will have lots of fun in the process! Where might our adventures take us? - Berlin Zoo - Botanical Gardens - Science Center - Natural History Museum - Chocolate World and much more… Learn in small groups of max. 5 with fun, experienced math coaches PROGRAM DETAILS: Time: 9am-3pm, Monday to Friday Fee: 476 Euro per child. Fee includes 19% VAT. Ask us about sibling discounts and financial aid for families in need. Entry fees and lunch is included in fee. Transportation/BVG ticket not included. Cancelation Policy

Cancellation requests received less than three weeks in advance of the activity/program commencement date are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made fiv working days prior to the start of the activity/program are eligible for a 30% refund. No refund can be granted after the first day of the program, and missed days will not be refunded. If a refund is issued, a 6% processing fee will be retained. Please note that each Linden camp requires a minimum of three participants to proceed. If the required number of registrations is not met, we will notify you three weeks prior to the start of the camp. In the unlikely event of a cancellation due to too few registrations, you will have the option to either request a full refund OR keep your booking and wait for the camp to fill up. If the camp is canceled, you may reschedule your registration for another week of camp or another camp that will be held during the same week. Please note that availability cannot be guaranteed.
