LEARNING SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Sally holds a degree in Global Studies and English from the University of New York and a Masters degree in Education. She is a recipient of the Howard Mann award for her work around special education and disciplinary reform in New York City. Sally was a founding teacher at Harvest Collegiate where she received her multi-subject certification allowing her to teach all core subjects. She has taught in New York City for over five years as well as at the American International School in Cairo. Sally is an IB certified teacher and has a keen interest in helping students identify how they learn and become engaged in their learning. Sally has experience in developing individual education plans (IEPs) as well as improving student learning efficiency through providing students with organizational skills and other methods. She is also passionate about mindfulness and social emotional learning.
