Hi! I am Ashwini. My passion for working with children led me to occupational therapy and it is a career I thoroughly enjoy. 

I offer a range of individualized assessments and interventions to support children and young people in doing what they want and need to do. Through individual sessions - conducted in-person and online - I work on supporting participation for children in their environments. I use a hybrid model of coaching-based interventions and consultations to support children, parents and teachers in creating a strengths-based framework, and achieving sustainable solutions for all concerned. I also offer group sessions for targeted interventions (e.g., Alert Program, Zones of regulation, Sensory Modulation, Handwriting). 

I am an avid reader of new research and I stay abreast with current scientific literature to enhance my practice. I have regularly designed and conducted awareness and skills building workshops for allied health professionals and education personnel. My strong interest in fine arts and design, has augmented my ability to plan sensorimotor spaces for educational settings. I have worked as an occupational therapist since 2005. In Ireland, I primarily worked as part of multidisciplinary teams in mainstream schools. I have also worked in early intervention, specialist autism and disability settings. I am experienced in diagnostic assessments as part of an autism specialist service.

In addition to my B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy (India), I hold post-graduate diplomas in Evidence-Based Practice in Occupational Therapy (University College Cork, Ireland) and Executive Coaching (Irish Management Institute). I have completed advanced training in Sensory Integration (UK) and am certified by CORU (Ireland) and by the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, USA). I am a member of the Association of Occupational Therapists, Ireland. I have also worked in India and Bangladesh. 

I recently moved to Warsaw, Poland and I speak English, Hindi, Kannada and Tamil.
