Dominika

Learning Support Specialist

Hi, I’m Dominika!

I’m a Learning Support Specialist. I hold a BA in Special Needs Education with a specialization in Learning Disabilities and children with mild intellectual disabilities. Additionally, I am a licensed Sensory Motor-based Physical Therapist.

For three years, I had the opportunity to work at international schools in Budapest, with a specific focus on early and primary education. During my time there, I helped children learn and grow by providing individual and group tutoring and therapy sessions in early and primary education. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to organize engaging activities focused on robotics and coding to enchant the passion for technology and creativity in my students.

In 2019, I moved to Berlin and worked with children aged 3 to 12 who have Learning Disabilities, serving as both a tutor and therapist. I specialize in providing academic support to students with learning disabilities from kindergarten through middle school.

I believe that education should be a transformative and empowering journey for every student, regardless of their unique abilities or challenges. I strongly believe in promoting inclusivity, empathy and providing support to enable each student to unlock their potential. My ultimate goal is to empower them to engage in their communities with confidence and reach their full potential.

I am from Hungary and I speak Hungarian and English. I am learning German to support a wider range of students.
