Hi, I’m Jack! I’m originally from the UK, but grew up mostly in France. As a result, I speak both English and French fluently. I also speak Spanish.

I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Child & Adolescent Counseling and Psychotherapy from Terapia in the UK. I trained in integrative and attachment-based counseling, which includes working creatively through the arts and play therapy. I am sensitive to the impact of adverse childhood experiences and have a deep interest in supporting young people who are experiencing depression, a lack of meaning or deep feelings of unworthiness.

I have worked with young people across different settings, including 10 years as an academic tutor supporting students to create strategies to cope with exam stress and revision scheduling.  Since qualifying as a counsellor, I have worked with both children, adolescents and young adults. My most recent therapeutic role was working 1-2-1 with adolescents in a performing arts college in the UK. Alongside my counseling practice, I worked in the non-profit sector where my primary focus was working with young refugees and migrants, offering both practical and therapeutic support.

Having moved from the UK to France at a young age, I am particularly conscious of the impact of transitions young people experience, both in terms of place and developmentally; from child to adolescent and finally into adulthood. I am also interested in male mental health and the barriers facing young men in accessing therapeutic services.

My approach is integrative, which means I seek to meet my clients where they are and tailor sessions to their needs, whether that be talking therapy or creative interventions.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy yoga, climbing, and learning to play the guitar.

I specialize in: Depression, Anxiety, Exam Stress, Confidence, Play Therapy, Stress, Cultural Transitioning, Male Mental Health
