Hi! My name is Ira Philip. I hold a Bachelor's in Finance, an MBA, and both a Bachelor's and Master's in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. I'm passionate about supporting startups and helping shape the next generation of entrepreneurs.
 

I'm of American, German, and Greek descent and grew up as a military child, moving between the USA, Greece, and Germany. For the past ten years, I’ve been based in Berlin, where I live with my partner and our blended family of three children.
 

My professional background includes personal investing, corporate controlling, nonprofit accounting, and coaching startups on financial strategy. Over the last decade, I’ve focused on guiding founders through finance and controlling, often in a fractional CFO role.
 

I currently serve on the executive board of Berlin Brandenburg International School and lead the Teen Venture Lab, a program designed to inspire young women to explore entrepreneurship. Outside of work, I’m a competitive masters weightlifter and proudly hold all three German national records in the W50 71kg category.
