COUNSELOR
Gemma is an Integrative Counselor from the UK who has experience working with parents, teachers, young children and adolescents. Her approach is integrative, which means she draws on many modalities depending on the needs of the client, including drama, art, humanistic and Gestalt therapy. She has worked in primary and secondary schools in central London using child-led play techniques alongside reflective parenting sessions with parents and collaborating with teachers and social workers.
With Linden, she works with those struggling with anxiety, depression, attachment issues, emotional blocks, family problems, insecurity, grief, loss and low self-esteem. She offers long-term work with clients, but has also seen that the seeds of healing can be planted in the space of a few sessions.
Gemma has lived and worked in New York, Doha, Geneva and Berlin and can sympathize with the challenges that children, parents and teachers sometimes face when living and working abroad. She is also a practicing artist and reiki practitioner, which provide an important balance to her therapeutic practice.
