PSYCHOLOGIST/COACH

Hi, I’m Dominique! I’m a psychological counselor with a degree in Psychology from the South African College of Applied Psychology and I’m currently completing my master's in clinical psychology at the International Psychoanalytic University in Berlin. I have worked as a counselor, an ESL teacher, a tutor, and an AIMS Therapist across a wide range of settings and in various countries including Zambia, Tanzania, South Africa, and Vietnam. I have supported children on the autism spectrum and children with learning difficulties.

During my time in Vietnam, I served international and Vietnamese families as an AIMS therapist and trainer, and I led workshops and trained teachers in international schools. I believe in a holistic and child-centered approach where therapies can be a fully integrated system in a student’s life.

I am passionate about helping children and young people overcome mental health challenges and better cope with learning difficulties by teaching them new skills, strategies and solutions to help them reach their full potential.

I specialize in: autism, English learning support, EAL, learning disabilities, social skills, sensory processing, identity & flourishing, communication & social skills, and behavior management.

I am of South African and Zambian descent and I speak English.
