Counselor & School Psychologist

Hi! I’m Yasmine and I have worked as a School Psychologist for many years with the Department of Defense, in Germany, Turkei, and Japan. In addition, I have worked with the Navajo People in New Mexico, as well as on-site and virtual school districts throughout the U.S. Support services in all of these settings included close intervention and support to students, families, and administration through assessment, counseling, behavioral intervention, IEP team and 504 collaboration, interacting with community providers, and more. My experience has ranged from Kindergarten to 12th grade, within the school settings.

Joy and laughter are significant parts of my world. Communication and resolution are always easier when team members approach the resolution table with authentic positivity and a willingness to hear all members.

Creating a level playing field is essential to empowering students to succeed, wherever the need; academically, socially, or emotionally. I have a passion for emotional wellness, family and community connectedness, and brighter futures through empowerment.

Finally, in addition to the above, my professional roles have included working as a Registered Nurse, as well as Special Education Teacher (Learning Disabilities and Emotional Difficulties). These roles have enabled me to have a broader, more effective view of the world as seen through the eyes of struggling students, families, and educators.

I am a first generation American with close family in Mannheim, Frankfurt, and France.

I speak German on a B1 level, beginning French, and of course, English!

Walk into the day!

What Clients Say

As a parent in Hohenfels Elementary School in Germany at the time when my boisterous son was going to start kindergarten. My son looked older, taller, and bigger than other children his age and for this reason we enrolled him in both kindergarten and then first grade a year earlier. However, he didn’t fit in and kept getting in trouble which made him very frustrated and unhappy. (As parents we) were lost and needed help. Ms.Reinhard worked closely with him one on one, observed him in the classroom, recess and lunchroom while he interacted with others. She also worked with me and my husband on helping our son build his self-esteem. For example, he had to practice the jump rope which helped improve his spatial awareness. Today, I am proud to say I have a bright, intelligent and happy son who just completed the third grade. I feel that this would not be possible without Ms.Reinhard and her hard work and guidance and for this I am grateful.

Ms. Reinhard is very committed and caring for her students.
