Hi, I am Ming-Jung. I’m a licensed counselor and counselor supervisor from Taiwan, and an ICF Certified Coach. I have a M.Ed. in Community Counseling from the University of North Texas and a Ph.D. level Advanced Counseling Supervisor training from the National Taiwan Normal University.
I have 10 years of experience working with parents, children and teachers on mental health and cultural adjustment challenges. I not only work with international students, staff, and families, but I also supervise counselors and intern-supervisors. I use the Adlerian and multicultural counseling approaches to help clients improve their self-understanding and adjustment processes.
Specializes in: child-parent relationships, personal growth, emotion-regulation, cultural adjustment, crisis intervention, and training/supervision for mental health workers, play therapy, and art therapy.
I am from Taiwan and I speak Mandarin, English, and Taiwanese.
