Mary
School Psychologist
Hi, I'm Mary! I am a school psychologist from the United States, specifically Boston, Massachusetts. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Utica University and my Master's degree and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in School Psychology from William James College. I then worked at Excel Academy Charter Schools for three years, where I supported students in grades 5 to 12 in an urban, multicultural community in Boston. Additionally, I worked in both urban and suburban schools in Anchorage, Alaska for Anchorage School District, where I supported students from early childhood to grade 8.
I specialize in providing culturally sensitive psychoeducational and psychological evaluations for students with specific learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and emotional disabilities, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I use an ecological perspective to understand each student holistically based on the range of factors that can impact mental health and school performance. Additionally, I use a trauma-informed approach to support students with emotional and behavioral needs.
I am from the United States and I speak English.
