Angela is a qualified K-6 primary teacher and academic coach. She holds a Masters in Youth Development Leadership from the University of Minnesota and an Elementary Education teaching license from Goddard College in Vermont.
Her career in teaching grew from her dedication as a youth worker, leading Outward Bound canoeing and hiking trips in the USA. She has worked with troubled youth in alternative schools and made connections with them through the natural world. Angela believes that children and young people can harness their own learning through investigating what interests them through experiential learning. She uses as much hands on learning as possible when teaching all subject areas in the classroom. She has taught in Doha and Bonn and currently resides at her home in Wisconsin, USA with her husband and three children. She is passionate about helping children discover their strengths and brush up on areas they need more support with.
