Olivia

Hi, I’m Olivia! I have worked as an academic coach with students in three different countries for over six years. Originally from Boston, I studied music at Columbia University in New York and sociology at Bogazici University in Istanbul. Currently, I’m studying medicine at Charité in Berlin. 

I have worked with students of varying ages and English levels in New York, Istanbul, and Berlin, and I truly appreciate every unique learning style. I am an attentive and understanding tutor, who values communication and fostering a learning partnership with my students. Due to my interdisciplinary background having studied science, arts, and social studies, I am knowledgeable about various subjects and strive to help students feel excited about what they are learning, regardless of the subject. 

I specialize in: math, English, general academic support, as well as SAT, ACT, and GRE prep. 

I’m American and I speak English, German, Turkish, and Portuguese.
