Hi, I’m Magda! I’m an academic coach for English, as well as a teen coach. I currently live in Italy, where I moved four years ago from London. I have worked as an international school teacher around the world (Italy, Switzerland, Malawi, Poland and the UK), where I taught IGCSE, IB DP and MYP English, Drama and Visual Arts.

I specialize in teaching middle and high school students and I love making learning fun, interesting and empowering.

I completed my BA in English and Drama at Queen Mary, University of London, where I also contributed as a writer to the London Student. Some years later, I gained my PGCE in English and Drama at the University of Camridge, and a few years after that, my MA in Theatre Directing at the University of Kent, Canterbury.

I’m originally from Poland but since I’m a Third Culture Kid, I feel like my nationality doesn’t tell the whole story of where I’m from. In the words of writer Taiye Selasi, “don’t ask where I’m from, ask where I’m a local.” I’m a local in London, Cambridge, Canterbury, Warsaw and Lake Como.

I speak Polish, English and a little bit of Spanish and Italian.
