Cristina

Hi, I’m Cristina! I’m an academic coach and teacher from South Africa. My greatest passion is teaching, and it is something I have chased my whole life. I am currently living in Germany but am originally from sunny South Africa. In 2021, I received my Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching hrough the University of South Africa.

During my time spent studying, I worked at various schools to gain classroom experience. I also volunteered for an NPO called Trulife, where I had the opportunity to go into many schools to help and educate children of many ages, a lot of whom were from poverty-stricken homes and schools. We tackled struggles that they didn’t always have the answers to (like human trafficking, drugs and alcohol, self-identity, bullying, etc.) by setting up workshops and performing drama acts to portray the messages across to them in an easier way for them to understand.

Since receiving my degree, I have also had the opportunity to live and teach in Zambia, which was an experience one can only dream of!

I specialize in Maths and English, mostly for primary school children, but have experience with these subjects in secondary school too.

I am from South Africa and I speak English, Afrikaans, basic Portuguese, and French, and I am currently learning German.
