Alice

Hi, I’m Alice! I have over 15 years of experience as a secondary teacher, and am committed to helping young people realize their potential. I have over a decade of teaching experience, including within the MYP and IB systems.

Originally from Wales, I studied English Literature at the University of Sheffield and later earned a Master's degree in Transnational Literature Studies at the University of Bremen. I am currently studying for a degree in Psychology at the International Psychoanalytic University in Berlin, and I am passionate about introducing mental health and resilience training into school and university settings. I place emphasis on fostering independence and enjoy seeing confidence emerge as young people take ownership of their own progress.

I specialize in IB and Middle Years English, IB Theory of Knowledge, academic writing, teen coaching and organizational skills for teens. I am also a Relocation Mentor and enjoy helping families in Berlin make informed decisions about which schools and settings are most appropriate for their children.

When I’m not reading, I love performing improvised comedy!

I am from Wales and Germany and I speak English and German fluently.
